In der Soundinstallation Schwingende Gitarrenharfe hängt eine an einem Stahldraht befestigte Gitarre, die durch einen einfachen Elektromotor in Rotation versetzt wird. Durch die kreisende Bewegung der Gitarre versetzt der sie streifende Luftzug die Saiten in Schwingung. Der dabei entstehende Ton wird von dem Verstärker auf dem Boden wiedergegeben. Die Funktionsweise der Installation ist an die einer Äolsharfe angelehnt, einem Instrument, dessen Saiten durch Einwirkung eines Luftstroms zur Resonanz und somit zum Klingen gebracht werden und das bereits seit der Antike Philosophen und Komponisten inspirierte. Die Informationsübersetzung spielt in dieser Arbeit die entscheidene Rolle: Nicht der Mensch, der die Saiten anschlägt, erzeugt die Musik, sondern die Bewegung der Gitarre selbst.

In the sound installation Oscillating Harp Guitar, a guitar hanging on a steel wire is oscillating by a simple eletronic motor. Due to the circular movement of the guitar, the draft on the air causes the string to vibrate. This creates a sound that is reproduced by the amlifier on the floor. The functioning of the installation is like that of an Aeolian harp, a string instrument that has existed since ancient times and insired many philosophers and composers. The transmission of information plays an important role in this work: it is not the musican who strikes the strings and creates the music, but rather the movement of the guitar itself.
